Abstract
Paper presented methodic of investigation of soil regarding requirement of Eurocode 7 and Kazakhstan standard. The methodic of investigation and testing of soil by these standards have some differences as long as Kazakhstan Standard is out of date and has not changed science 1994. Eurocode 7 is taking latest technology developments, technical methods and provides for the use of more modern equipment. Discussion of using geotechnical equipment’s, technological features, advantages and disadvantages of aforementioned standards might be important for understanding and elimination of existing differences, for harmonization with international standards. Paper includes recommendation for the future modernization of Kazakhstan standards.
