Abstract

We observe patterns every day throughout our lives. For instance, traffic patterns as we are driving, musical patterns as we are playing an instrument, nature’s patterns such as clouds’ cadence and rhythm of waves as we are spending time outdoors, weather patterns as we are traveling, patterns as we are writing computer programs, when studying psychological behavioral patterns, and mathematical patterns as we are solving particular math problems. Sometimes patterns repeat at the same scale and at other times patterns repeat at different scales.
