Abstract
We have attempted to increase the efficacy of available chemotherapy for head and neck cancer through modulation of 5-FU. We took the combination of Cisplatin and 5-Fluorouracil as our base, since it had proven activity and a moderate toxicity profile that might allow for modulation [1, 2]. Our goal was to identify a regimen that would have a higher degree of activity resulting in improved survival.
