Abstract
Following discussions of our previous results of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy for SCLC at the 13th Int. Congress of Chemotherapy in Vienna 1983 the ISC (Int.Soc.of Chemotherapy) — Lung Cancer Study Group was formed and the ISC-protocols for small cell lung cancer were formulated for prospective randomized ISC-studies I-IV [1]. Our preliminary evaluation presented for discussions concentrated on results of our neo-adjuvant protocol (ISC-Studies III) compared to some results of our adjuvant ISC-study I, II [2].
