Résumé

Les veines pelviennes forment un carrefour circulatoire complexe et très dense. À côté des courants de retour des membres inférieurs se place une zone d’échanges intéressant les territoires de drainage des viscères intrapelviens et de la paroi abdomino-pelvienne. Outre sa fonction spécifique, cette zone d’échanges représente des voies de dérivation potentielle en cas de thrombose, d’obstacle ou d’anomalies pariétales des axes principaux, à l’origine d’itinéraires de secours.
