Résumé

Ce chapitre introduit de nouveaux objets algébriques, combinatoires et topologiques qui pour la plupart sont peu ou prou issus des graphes. Nous allons aborder de nouveaux concepts comme les polynômes de Tutte. Même síls demeurent encore très mystérieux, ces polynômes ont un grand nombre dápplications notamment en physique statistique. La théorie de Ramsey est également présente dans les applications en théorie de línformation et en informatique. Nous aborderons aussi la no- tion de matroïde. Enfin, une courte section sur les hypergraphes achèvera cet ouvrage.
