Résumé

L’ischémie intestinale aiguë (IIA) est due à la diminution du fux artériel intestinal dans le territoire irrigué par l’artère mésentérique supérieure (AMS). Cette hypovascularisation induit une ischémie de la paroi intestinale qui touche d’abord la muqueuse et qui peut aboutir en quelques heures à une nécrose. C’est une affection rare dont l’incidence est évaluée à 1 pour 1 000 hospitalisations
