Résumé

Le terme de carcinome lobulaire in situ (CLIS) a été crée par Foote et Stuart en 1941 pour décrire « a rare form of mammary cancer ». Il s’agissait d’une lésion ressemblant au carcinome lobulaire invasif (CLI) mais encore entouré par la membrane basale [1]–[3]. Il s’agissait d’une population cellulaire monomorphe, développée à partir de l’unité ducto-lobulaire et se propageant de façon pagetoïde vers les canaux galactophores.
