Résumé
Une diarrhée chronique se caractérise par une augmentation du débit fécal (> 200 g/j) évoluant depuis plus d’un mois. L’OMS retient aussi la définition de diarrhée lorsque les selles sont trop nombreuses (> 3/j) et/ou liquides.
