Résumé
Tumeurs bénignes oestrogénodépendantes qui régressent après la ménopause, les fibromes sont plus fréquents avec l’âge, chez les femmes noires que chez les Caucasiennes, chez les nullipares que chez les multipares. Le plus souvent asymptomatiques, ils peuvent être responsables de ménométrorragies et éventuellement d’anémie, de pesanteurs pelviennes, de syndrome de masse, de signes urinaires et/ou digestifs, d’infertilité et de fausses couches.
