Abstrait

La camptocormie est une anomalie posturale rachidienne acquise responsable d’une cyphose à grand rayon. Elle touche surtout les sujets de plus de 60 ans, et plus particulièrement de sexe féminin. La camptocormie est liée à une faiblesse des muscles paravertébraux. Les étiologies de ce syndrome sont multiples, les maladies neuro-musculaires représentant une des étiologies. Cette atteinte peut révéler ou apparaître dans l’évolution d’une maladie neuro-musculaire (1). Le tableau clinique rachidien est similaire quelle que soit l’étiologie de la camptocormie. Ce sont les signes cliniques associés et les examens complémentaires qui permettent de poser le diagnostic étiologique.
