Abstrait

Si les métastases cutanées des cancers profonds sont parfois révélatrices du cancer, elles surviennent cependant le plus souvent au cours de son évolution. Elles sont le témoin d’un stade avancé de la maladie. Tous les cancers peuvent être àl’origine de métastases cutanées. Le diagnostic est important car, si elles sont révélatrices, elles peuvent permettre de retrouver un cancer primitif, parfois être accessible àune thérapeutique efficace et, si elles surviennent dans un contexte de cancer connu, elles sont le témoin d’une évolutivité de la maladie qui peut justifier une modification de stratégie thérapeutique. Les localisations cutanées secondaires du mélanome et les localisations des affections malignes des tissus hématopoïétiques ne seront pas abordées ici.
