Résumé

Les adénocarcinomes représentent 90% des tumeurs malignes gastriques. Les adénomes, la maladie de Ménétrier, les moignons gastriques 15 ans après intervention et les gastrites atrophiques chroniques (GAC) auto-immunes (maladie de Biermer) ou liées à Helicobacter pylori peuvent être considérés comme des lésions précancéreuses, puisqu’à risque de dysplasie sévère qui précède l’adénocarcinome. Ces lésions nécessitent une surveillance endoscopique régulière avec des biopsies multiples. Loin derrière les adénocarcinomes, deux entités doivent être connues: les tumeurs stromales (GIST) et les tumeurs endocrines (TE) gastriques. Les lymphomes de MALT, qui représentent 3% des tumeurs malignes de l’estomac, ne seront pas détaillés dans ce chapitre. Ils se développent à partir du tissu lymphoïde associé à la muqueuse digestive (MALT), dont l’estomac est la localisation la plus fréquente.
