Résumé

Les sarcomes urogénitaux de l’adulte sont des tumeurs rares représentant moins de 2% des tumeurs urogénitales (1). L’équipe du Memorial Sloan- Kettering a publié son expérience sur 131 patients traités pour des sarcomes urogénitaux de 1977 à 2003. Les résultats sont issus d’une base de données construite de manière prospective depuis 1982. Sur 25 ans, 131 patients ont été entrés dans cette base de données. 87% étaient des hommes. Dans 43% des cas, il s’agissait de tumeurs paratesticulaires. Il y avait environ 15% de primitif prostatique et 15% de primitif vésical, 11% étaient des sarcomes rénaux. Plus de trois quarts des tumeurs étaient de haut grade, ce qui est plus important que pour les sarcomes d’autres sites (environ 60%). Il s’agissait le plus souvent de léiomyosarcomes (29%) ou de liposarcomes (26%). Les taux de survie spécifique à 5 ans et 10 ans respectivement sont de 56% et 42%. En analyse multifactorielle, la grande taille de la tumeur et la présence de métastase sont associées à un mauvais pronostic.
