Biopsies guidées du sein: faut-il s’en méfier?

Abstrait

L’amélioration des techniques de prélèvements associée à la standardisation des indications conduit à l’optimisation de la prise en charge diagnostique et préthérapeutique des lésions mammaires. De vastes études multicentriques successives américaines et allemandes, concernant des milliers de prélèvements tant en microbiopsies qu’en macrobiopsies assistées par le vide, permettent de situer précisément la place de ces techniques dans le cadre d’une démarche de qualité en aval du dépistage organisé (1, 2). Néanmoins, les microbiopsies comme les macrobiopsies présentent des limites dont nous analyserons à travers les données de la littérature les causes et les conséquences.
