Abstract
Some combination therapies may prove to be particularly helpful in addressing coexisting morbidities as well as hypertension. For example, patients with hypertension and depressed cardiac function (congestive heart failure with decreased ejection fraction) may benefit from the combination of an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and a diuretic.
