Abstract

Identification Maps M1 to M8 give a number of indications enabling the interested reader to identify dozens of bright stars and most of the constellations. The arrows showing the alignments and extensions, however, make it difficult or even impossible to use them as maps of the sky. In order to overcome these problems, this chapter — essentially one Celestial Chart — includes these maps from a new perspective.
