Abstract
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is the most common form of childhood arthritis. JIA is an umbrella term for a group of conditions that have in common chronic arthritis. The disorder is subdivided into seven categories: systemic, oligoarthritis (subcategories of persistent and extended), polyarthritis rheumatoid factor (RF) positive, polyarthritis RF negative, enthesitis-related arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and undifferentiated arthritis.
