Abstract
Musculoskeletal signs and symptoms are common in childhood and adolescence but, fortunately, rarely represent a severe rheumatic disease.The principles of the diagnostic approach are similar to those for adults. Many rheumatic conditions arising in children have already been described in previous chapters, to underline the syndrome pattern in which they appear.
