Abstract
Nonneoplastic diseases of the urethra may result from congenital or acquired causes. Congenital anomalies of the urethra include anomalies of form, number, and urethral groove malformations. Megalourethra and anterior and posterior urethral valve abnormalities are discussed in detail. A discussion on spinning top urethra is also included. Acquired diseases of the urethra presented include but not limited to urethral inflammatory disease, calculi, diverticulum, strictures, and fistulas. In this chapter we present imaging findings and pathological features of nonneoplastic diseases of the urethra.
