Abstract
The human population has grown steadily since the advent of agricultural practices several thousand years ago. Through domestication of animals and agricultural practice, it has ensured itself continued sustenance and an ample supply of food. Despite several population control measures, the world population is projected to grow steadily to 9-11 billion by 2050 (1). This has triggered human fears about balancing the growth of population and food supplies to feed the hungry.
