Abstract
The goal of troubleshooting LC systems is to identify a problem early, isolate it quickly, and correct the problem so that downtime is minimized. First, take a few minutes each day to look over the system. You will get a good impression of the system as it operates normally, and this will help you recognize when it is not running properly. When a problem arises, isolate the source of trouble in a logical manner as discussed in this chapter. Finally, correct the problem with the help of (a) this book, (b) the operator and service manuals for the system, and, if necessary, (c) the manufacturer’s service department.
