Abstract

Effective troubleshooting requires an understanding of how the LC system works. It is assumed that the reader of this book has already been exposed to the fundamentals of LC separation. In this chapter we will review some of these basics, particularly those that relate directly to troubleshooting. For further information, consult Snyder and Kirkland.1
