Abstract
Cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) is a discipline that seeks to generate insight about the economic efficiency with which various interventions (e.g., coronary artery bypass graft surgery [CABG]) generate health benefit. It is related to other analytic tools, such as decision analysis and cost—benefit analysis.
