Abstract

This chapter addresses several of the more significant legal issues that arise in the physician office-practice setting. It cannot be disputed that the practice of medicine is a heavily regulated business—both at the state and Federal levels. Practical considerations preclude a discussion of the laws of any particular state; however, they have been addressed generically.

His practice focuses on the representation of healthcare providers in regulatory matters and transactions, with a particular emphasis on the representation of physicians and long-term care providers.
