Abstract
Google’s mission is “to organize the world’s information and to make it universally accessible and useful.” As of June 2016, Google has crawled and indexed 60 trillion individual web pages, befitting the search engine name that was a play on the word “Googol” which means ten duotrigintillion, 10100, or 1 followed by a hundred zeros. The Internet is accelerating collective consciousness and revolutionizing economy, politics, and education, among others.
We are the nation that put cars in driveways and computers in offices; the nation of Edison and the Wright brothers; of Google and Facebook .
