Abstract
This chapter introduces our trial of MANGA-case training to foster the ability to integrate one’s knowledge, experience, and available information for executing an appropriate action. As long as service businesses are faced with clients, there is no one right answer for what is the best service without regarding individual situations. Moreover, with greater globalization, provider and client may not share common customs and culture, and may each have their own “general” procedure. Facilitated by structured questions and supplementary materials, MANGA-case leads learners to extract information and interpret it to judge an optimal solution. From our experience with MANGA training in several areas both domestic and international, MANGA shows the potential to be effective in global circumstances and applicable to any level and any area.
