Abstract
One of the key features in future heterogeneous wireless networks is to always provide the best network connectivity and data services to mobile users through different available wireless access networks, where different interworking scenarios appear during users’ handover and roaming procedures. Nowadays, mobile operators have to deploy multiple wireless access networks with different technologies to meet increasing mobility and bandwidth requirements. Handovers between these technologies have to be transparent to end users, to allow a simplified and seamless on-the-move roaming experience.
