Abstract

There is a blurred dividing line between what is technique and what is treatment, and the term applied technique relates to fitting the chosen technique to the patient and the situation that has presented. There are several factors that need to be considered in addition to the modifying factors already identified. Some of the previously mentioned modifying factors also need amplifying:
