Abstract

Internal venous valve repair is illustrated by the original transvalvular technique that was first performed in 1968 and is still practised as the author’s choice for primary valve incompetence. This technique was altered by Raju1 to a supravalvular approach and later by Sottiurai2 to a supravalvular approach with a vertical limb to the valve sinus.
