The actual eyes of my contemporaries observed how a bomb flies when the locks of a bomber open against a smoky sky, on the newsreel screens and in thousands of children’s drawings; I myself drew them. Let us try to forget this and look at the world with the eyes of the mind, as our immortal contemporary Galileo Galilei taught the simple-minded Simplicio.
