Abstract

The transpiration stress of the crown of a felled tree can be used in two ways:
  1. a)

    for removal of the capillary water from the tree (drying);

  2. b)

    for treating the tree through the butt, to which is attached a plastic bag, which is connected by means of a plastic tube to a vat filled with the solution.
