Abstract

Clinical psychology is a branch of psychology which has developed into a powerful discipline in the past twenty years. It can no longer be removed from the study of health research and, as will be shown, has made scientific contributions eminently relevant for health-care. Many people, perhaps even some readers of this book, ask themselves what exactly is clinical psychology.
