Abstract
How can a country that is poor in resources and has few trained agricultural scientists increase the usefulness of its research, quickly and economically? The International Benchmark Sites Network for Agrotechnology Transfer (IBSNAT), a new international project on technology transfer, is designed to increase research efficiency through networking, systems analysis, crop modelling and exploitation of the new wares of the information age.
