Aspects of Distributive and Procedural Justice in Quality of Working Life

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Critical Issues in Social Justice ((CISJ))

Abstract

This chapter offers an indicative review of the uneven distribution of the quality of working life. After presenting a conceptual model concerning humanization and the quality of working life, it gives objective indicators of the quality of working life, followed by data on blue-versus white-collar workers indicating social injustice. Next, it provides some ideas on strategies of improvement, that is, humanization strategies in relation to automation, giving an example and including, in the final paragraph, a theoretical reflection.
