Abstract

In closing this Conference I would like to comment on those aspects of the meeting which bore on the goals we originally set for holding it. These goals were to consider new classes of conductors and superconductors; to consider new syntheses; to present new developments; to present the present state-of-the-art of the field, the experimental techinques and capabilities of the various groups; and, to facilitate interactions among chemists, physicists and material scientists.
