Abstract

As evidenced by the broad scope of topics covered in this Workshop, significant progress has been made in recent years both in experimental techniques and the analysis of results from neutron-diffraction studies of momentum distributions in quantum many-body systems. Comparison with theory requires both a proper consideration of final-state effects, as explained by other contributors to this volume1, as well as a basic understanding of the computational procedures employed to generate the momentum distribution from quantum simulations.
