Abstract
This chapter encompasses a brief synopsis of information on the occurrence of occupational injury. It includes information exclusively from the United States and focuses mostly on fatalities, as opposed to nonfatal injuries. Information referenced is largely published in the 1990s but findings from reports in the 1970s and 1980s are given as needed for balance and completeness. Though sparse, information is given when it is available about occupational injuries in immigrant populations.
