Abstract
Whether in an individual capacity or as part of a rehabilitation team, on a daily basis occupational rehabilitation professionals are faced with decisions on employee hiring, placement and retention, employee safety and injury avoidance, and for more severely disabled individuals, vocational rehabilitation and benefits entitlement. This chapter addresses five specific areas of regulation and legislation:
