Abstract
I have excavated the graph in which I plotted the breakdown data of point plane tests in oil. On it is our old data for +ve to −ve points. Then there is some data I derived from a point plane dump gap in the Facility 1 large area oil breakdown tests done at P.I. during the Aurora tests. In addition there are some higher voltage points which come I think from PI but I have been unable to locate further data about them. I have a faint recollection that there were some prepulse oil gap data which would mean teff would be small and d ∼ 10 cms. I do recollect that at least some of the data was for both polarities which led me to speculate that the breakdown mean velocity became polarity independent for a high enough voltage.
