Abstract
The main objective of this chapter is to consider representative challenges brought to Freudian psychoanalysis from within the movement itself. We do so in the context of their general implications for the schoolage population. In order to obtain a proper perspective, a secondary objective is to describe briefly the behavioristic criticisms of psychoanalysis.
