Abstract

We will do our best to simplify the presentation of our data throughout this book. We feel the data have many important implications for public policy, and we hope to broaden our readership beyond only those active mental health services researchers with highly technical backgrounds. People interested in mental health policy and mental hospitalization deserve access to these data, and we hope to facilitate their efforts.
