History of the Underwater Archaeology in the Kimmerian Bosphorus on the Black Sea
Archaeological excavations of ancient towns in the Kimmerian Bosphorus, located along the Taman Bay shore in the north-eastern part of the Black Sea showed that all have been submerged by the Black Sea as a result of its water level fluctuations (Figure 1).
