Abstract
In Chapter 7, we configured a geo replica of our primary Hyperscale database in another Azure region to protect our workload against a failure of the primary region. In this chapter, we will perform the final tasks that we need to do to improve the security and monitoring of our Hyperscale database. This will help our environment align to the practices outlined in the security and operational excellence pillars in the Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
