Abstract

Augmented Reality has become a familiar term mostly due to mobile devices. Major smartphone manufacturers such as Apple and Google are making huge breakthroughs in the ways our everyday devices understand the environment. Augmented Reality is the result of enhancing the physical world with digital content, such as 3D objects, interactable elements, and so on. Usually, people see such enhanced versions of reality through headsets like Microsoft’s HoloLens or through the screens of their phones. Few people attribute the wide use of AI to Kinect, which has been the device that made AR mainstream.
