Abstract
You are finally there! We will finally be able to create a complete but simple application, for your understanding, because this is how I like to start when I learn new technologies. I will teach you how to develop a web interface for managing a list of countries. Imagine a wiki, for example, with ASP.NET Core Razor Pages for the web interface, a hosted service running in the background, gRPC as an API allowing you to manipulate the data between the database and the web interface, SQL Server for storing data, and Entity Framework Core for data access. Along with these steps, I’ll also teach you some concepts such as how to layer (architecture) an application properly. This chapter covers the following:
