Abstract
A Public Key Infrastructure is a complex system that includes all the pieces needed to securely issue and manage digital certificates, including certificate revocation checking. There are several commercial providers of PKIs, as well as ways to deploy your own in-house PKI (as with MS AD Certificate Services).
