Abstract
Jakarta EE (formerly Java Enterprise Edition) is a set of specifications that help developers implement enterprise software with Java. We have already used Jakarta Servlet, Jakarta Bean Validation, and Jakarta Persistence in previous chapters. All these specifications are part of Jakarta EE.
