Abstract
Functions are a great way to keep code organized and easy to follow. Functions group code together to perform a specific task, which can be called from anywhere in your script. If you need to run the same block of code multiple times, you can just write it once in a function and then call that code by writing the function name. Once the script reaches that point, it will jump to the block of code in the function and run the code and then jump back to where the function was called from and continue.
