Abstract
In this chapter, we'll walk through the steps to build a basic app that connects to data. If you've never seen a Power Apps application, this chapter provides a perfect introduction to the way that an app looks and behaves. It's simple to build this type of app because we can point Power Apps to a data source and ask it to generate an app. Because Power Apps carries out all the hard work, the challenge is to understand the app that Power Apps creates. This is important because this knowledge enables us to further enhance and develop these types of “auto-generated” apps.
